Speaking at CEL Manila Tomorrow!

Consumer Electronics Live! (CEL Manila 2009) starts today until Sunday at the World Trade Center, Pasay City. I will be speaking at a panel tomorrow afternoon so drop by if you can.

Actually, I am at some island in Albay right now (Misibis Bay, Cagraray Island) for the week-end and my talk will be streamed on-stage via Skype Video. I think this is a first for me and a true testament that broadband internet in the Philippines is readily accessible even in faraway islands.

Glad to have Sun Wireless Broadband helped in setting this up for me and we’ve just finished testing the connection this evening. Looks like all is set for tomorrow.

P.S. I heard the Dell Adamo M13 and the Adamo XPS were launched today. Check out the post at PTB .

I saw some of the Adamo hehe.

Sadly, CEL 09 was a big disappointment,, Nothing new was showcased. It is more of a dell event being that most of the booth has a Dell item being sold!

Apple booth didn’t have the magic mouse on display and nothing new was shown.

The expo got delayed 3 hours because of a water pipe that burst near the 5th ave and philips booth.

    Wow, that’s great!
Sun Broadband already works on provincial areas such as Albay.

Good luck on the talk, sir! :-D

Sir the adamo xps was just a teaser while the adamo m13 I think was launched today. Obviously the price was outrageous 130,000 pesos.

Wow, Sun actually has broadband networks in Albay? I mean, I thought their concentration is in the cities only, at least at this point in time.
