Honor Philippines is set to launch a new smartphone in the country that offers premium features without hurting your budget, the Honor 7A. If you’re planning on getting this phone, here are the best features it has to offer.

Face and Fingerprint Unlock

The Honor 7A packs two technologies for enhanced security and convenient unlocking. It has your standard fingerprint scanner on the rear if you prefer unlocking your device with your finger, but if you want a fancier way of doing it, it also has the face unlock feature which is found in more devices nowadays.

13MP rear + 8MP selfie cameras

When it comes to the camera department, the Honor 7A has a single 13MP rear shooter, while the front is handled by an 8MP camera with F/2.2 aperture, beauty effect with adjustable selfie toning light which should satisfy those who are fond of selfies.

5.7-inch FullView Display

The Honor 7A is equipped with a 5.7-inch display with 18:9 aspect ratio with 720 x 1440 resolution which equates to a decent pixel density of 282ppi. The thin top and bottom bezels give the user a more immersive viewing experience which is good for watching videos, viewing photos, or playing games.

EMUI 8.0

Running the software department is EMUI 8.0 based on Android 8.0 Oreo. It comes with functional smart features including Navigation Dock, Three-finger Screenshot, One-click split, and many others, to make it easy to use. It also has the iAware2.0 smart management, which intelligently detects user behavior to improve system efficiency by 20% and free up more internal storage, providing a smoother user experience.

Powerful speakers with Sync

The Honor 7A, although a budget-friendly device, comes with powerful audio features which include the SMART PA amplifier and speakers that can deliver audio as loud as 88 dB. There’s also a group music mode which allows you to build a surround-sound speaker array by connecting up to eight Honor 7A devices. In addition, it also offers real-time audio monitoring through your earbuds and supports SWS3.1 virtual bass, allowing you to replicate the recording studio experience and hear your own voice while recording your singing.

Dual-SIM w/ dedicated microSD card slot

Many smartphones in the market offer dual-SIM connectivity but sacrifice memory expandability. The Honor 7A doesn’t have that feature as it has a dedicated microSD card slot with support for up to 256GB capacities. So if you have plenty of files like photos, videos, and music, just insert the microSD card and the Honor 7A will handle the rest.

Dual Bluetooth

Another feature that the Honor 7A has that is mostly found in high-end devices is Dual Bluetooth connectivity. It’s a handy feature as it allows the phone to connect with two devices via Bluetooth at the same time, allowing you to listen to music while talking on a headset.

The Honor 7A will be available starting July 7 on Shopee with a retail price of Php 6,990 and will be on flash sale for Php 5,990 on July 7, 14 and 30.
