ASUS has launched the ZenBook 14X OLED Space Edition which offers a robust ultraportable design built on a 12th Generation Intel Alder Lake processor as its core. Here are a few reasons why we recommend you get one yourself.
Table of Contents
The ZenBook 14x Space edition is an all-metal construction body with a 16:10 touchscreen-supported display. It offers as much as what a standard ZenBook 14X model would provide with so much more. The Space Edition is meant to commemorate the 25 years from the launch of the ASUS P series of laptops used on the MIR Space Station. With this, ASUS goes with a titanium-grey colored scheme called Zero-G Titanium, and a more rugged matte texture for the entirety of the chassis. For clarification, it is built-in aluminum but has a titanium color finish. Additionally, there is a ZenVision display placed on the laptop’s lid that is a 3.65-inch P-OLED panel with 256 x 64px resolution and 150-nits brightness to minimalize the impact on the battery life. Customization can be done through the MyASUS app to display several animations, QR Codes, or text messages.
Aesthetics aren’t the only reason we recommend the purchase of the ASUS ZenBook 14x OLED Space Edition. The device is packed with the latest Intel Core i7-12700H processor to ensure snappy response and that all tasks are carried out by it. Along with the powerful Intel processor is a 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and a 1TB PCIe 4 NVMe SSD. With these types of specifications at their price point, you definitely get more than what you paid for. Although the graphics are by the integrated Irs XE chip, the power settings can allow it to run close to its maximum potential in GPU loads and games. Providing decent FPS when leisure activities are chosen.
ASUS secures the proper heat dissipation through the redesign of their thermal module. The SSD is placed right near the CPU but ASUS includes a large thermal pad to prevent overheating. ASUS provides a capable thermal design on this laptop that pushes the rear of the device upwards in order to improve airflow into the fans. The trickle down of this design from their commercial lineup has done wonders for the ZenBook series that is proven on the 14X OLED Space Edition.
ASUS’ design no longer positions the radiators and exhausts between the hinges and under the screen, but rather on the sides of the device providing a more powerful and better-balanced laptop.
One of the main reasons to get the ASUS 14x OLED Space Edition is its 63Wh battery that provides more than 5 hours of working hours while on the go. Of course, considering that the ASUS 14x OLED Space Edition runs on an H-type processor, it draws more power to get the work done. With regular tasks, 5-6 hours of use may be expected but with heavier use like rendering and editing, expect stronger battery drain.
To sum it all up, the price of the ASUS ZenBook 14X OLED Space Edition begins at PHP 84,995. At this price point, the ASUS ZenBook 14x OLED Space Edition checks all the right boxes to make it on the list for your next upgrade. From the performance to its aesthetic, this laptop is definitely worth the purchase

Paul says:
Asus should have put at least an RTX 3050 in it, just Intel onboard graphics is terrible value. If you look around you can already get a gaming laptop with RTX 3070 graphics for the same price.
