Move on na tayo. Ilibing na natin si ASUS sa Libingan ng mga Bayani.
chief gato says:
lol. just like marcos is a ‘bayani’ in his ‘early life’, so was asus…
how swiftly time flies and what is true yesterday is now…no more…
MrOrange says:
I have a theory here after analyzing their prices. Kung mapapansin niya yung pricing ng Zenfone 3 Laser and Max. if they lowered the price of the zenfone 3 5.2″ to the initial SRP of say 13k, it’ll eat the market share of the Laser and Max, thus if pricing and marketing so that each one would have equal market share, the price for the two is higher but not too high to reach the territory of a brand new sa S7 from Grey Market.
chief gato says:
mukhang may patututunguhan yung theory mo.
any idea on asus zenfone 2 series price drop after the recent launch of series 3?
MrOrange says:
if we’re talking price it is quite expensive. And Asus is a really good brand in terms of the PC Market side. We can’t really compare Asus to OPPO to Huawei especially if all their specs don’t even add up. it all boils down to one simple line. “You get what you pay for!” you want cheap, get a Cherry Mobile not Android One. Don’t expect even a saw dust of updates because you want it cheap. If the manufacturer gives you nougat for your sub-8k phone rejoice, if not, don’t complain. If you paid for the 40k phone and don’t get updates, you will be redirected to the EULA. if the EULA says you don’t get updates ten you don’t get updates, the manufacturer isn’t obliged to give you them.

Accessories na lang ang kaya ng budget ng mga old loyal ASUS fans. Good riddance, ASUS.

Ronaldq says:
F*cking Asus. You and your overprice marketing bullsh*t. So their “innovation” are just lies then? How can this be price competitive in which was promised last year?
Asus decisions right now makes me want to root with OPPO….and I don’t even like OPPO.
Easy E says:
Naku ha OPPO pa? Yan ang orig na overprice king. Haha
chief gato says:
baka maraming binabayaran ang asus: celebrity endorsers, ‘fake’ reviewers…
sa kabilang pinoy tech site, hindi daw overpriced yung asus zenfone 3 lineup… lol… natatawa ako… hihihihii…
banal na asus, santong kabayo, sa presyo natatawa ako… hihihihi..
Aysus says:
Hahahaha come on man you’re overreacting. OPPO is on another level when it comes to overpricing but ASUS is indeed catching up very quickly. Well at least ASUS is a known global brand while OPPO is a POS brand.
Although in fairness to OPPO it never misleads with low SRP during announcements and then suddenly adds 50% to the prices come release time.
ASUS made a terrible mistake by not honoring these supposed low SRPs.
Why would you buy something worth 35,000 when the SRP during announcement was just 23,500? Maybe 27,000 or 28,000 is still tolerable but 35,000? No effing way ASUS!
