Earlier this month, Vivo launched in the Philippines its latest mid-range smartphone that packs six cameras, the V17 Pro. One of the main features of this phone is the dual selfie camera, which is a treat for those who want to a better selfie experience. Here are the things we like about the Vivo V17 pro’s dual selfie camera.
Table of Contents
Most smartphones house their selfie cameras in a notch or a hole-punch. While this kind of setup works, it looks distracting for some and obstructs what is otherwise an immersive viewing experience. In the case of the V17 Pro, it uses the pop-up mechanism, which hides the dual selfie camera inside the body of the smartphone when not in use. The design allows Vivo to put an unobstructed 6.44-inch Ultra FullView Display.
Most smartphones in the market use selfie cameras with around 16MP sensors and below. In the case of the V17 Pro, it has a high-resolution 32MP sensor with an F2.0 aperture for that bright selfie with plenty of details and vibrant colors.
Want to take selfies in low-light conditions? The V17 Pro addresses that challenge with its Super Night Selfie feature. It works by combining multiple frames to optimize picture brightness and clarity. And if it’s dark, you can use the Selfie Softlight for some illumination.
Most phones settle with a single selfie camera, but in the case of the V17 Pro, they added a secondary Super Wide-Angle with a 105-degree field-of-view. It’s a convenient feature as it allows you to easily take group selfies without the need to extend your arms or use a selfie stick. It’s also handy when you want to take selfies with a beautiful landscape in the background.
The Vivo V17 Pro comes with extra features that can improve your selfie experience. It has Pose Master is a frame that appears on the screen to track your position and help you pose for the camera. Another one is AI Make-Up, which applies packaged make-up schemes to your face for that instant make-over.
And that sums it up. How about you, what’s your favorite Vivo V17 Pro feature? Let us know in the comments below.
