The Reno 3 series is OPPO’s latest offering under the Reno line. This means we can expect new and exciting things that have evolved from its predecessor. OPPO is touting the Reno3 series as having smartphone features that cater to what we want as consumers; the latest mobile platform technology, OPPO’s newest user interface experience, and of course, great cameras both front and rear.
That last one is a feature we historically associate with the Reno line. As such, it will be the focus of this article. We’re going to take a look at a few camera features users can take advantage of to harness the full capability of the OPPO Reno3 series.

Low-light, No Problem
Along with the Ultra Night Mode for the Reno 3’s 44MP Ultra Clear front camera that gives you an improved selfie experience and Ultra Dark Mode for the 48MP rear camera, the device can handle your low-light photo concepts. Whether you’re indoors or outdoors, limited lighting should not be a problem.
From the rear camera, enable Ultra Dark Mode as you capture the city skyline even at night. You could also try shooting colors in the dark using LED lights or perhaps find the right perspectives and shadows inside your room to tell interesting stories even while at home. You can do selfies in minimal lighting conditions, too, as using the said feature.

To activate Ultra Night Mode and Ultra Dark Mode, simply swipe right two times after opening the camera app.
108MP of Clarity
The Reno3 Pro has a mode that allows you to take ultra-clear 108MP photos. This is called the 108MP quad-camera system, which uses a method called pixel-binning. It takes a few shots using the Reno 3 Pro 64MP rear camera technology and combines them with software for better photos with impressive details.

This can take both your portrait and scenic shots to another level. Whenever you find yourself in a situation where you’re shooting something that has a lot of detail, just enable the 108MP mode in the Reno 3 Pro’s camera app, and you can be sure that it will capture the subject with the sharpest detail.
To activate the 108MP mode, navigate to the “More” menu in the camera app, tap on Expert mode, and tap on the square XHD icon on top.
Subjects In Slow-Mo
For video makers out there, the Reno3 series has a feature that can make your vlogs stand out. The improved Slow Motion mode on video can bring attention to ordinary moments. Use it to capture a coin flip, a moving car, or even just a buddy that likes to jump around, and you will notice things that you wouldn’t in an ordinary video.
We tested the Slow-Mo feature of the Reno3 Pro on moving splashes of water to best show the feature, and it came out really cool. You can also do this by recording a faucet with running water or simply throw a ball on a puddle to see how water splashes in slow-motion.

Changing your video settings to slow motion is simple. While in video mode on the camera app, tap the Settings button on the upper right, and you can configure the settings under Video Resolution and Slow-Motion Video Resolution.
