The realme 13+ 5G and its Gaming Feats

realme has new entries to their flagship lineup with the realme 13 5G and realme 13+ 5G. One thing people usually consider when buying a phone is the processor and how it can handle their usual games.

So, the question is, how does the realme 13+ 5G fare with different kinds of games? Well, don’t worry gamers! We got you covered here in YugaTech and we’re going to find out for ourselves.

Realme 13+ 5g Gaming

Let’s start with what we know: at the heart of the realme 13+ 5G is a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Energy. The device also has a Stainless Steel Vapor Chamber Cooling System which keeps its temperature cool even during intense gaming sessions.

GT Mode is also equipped in the 13+ 5G that makes sure the smartphone’s resources are focused on the current running game, keeping graphic quality and frame rates high. I made sure that this was on most of the time when I was gaming and it did help to make things smooth in my sessions.

For storage, you can have up to 26GB of RAM thanks to Dynamic RAM Expansion and 256GB of internal storage. You don’t even have to worry about straining your eyes thanks to realme’s AI Eye Comfort Display.

Okay, so let’s get to the nitty gritty: the games. I play a lot of mobile games, but my go-tos that I run almost every day are Pokemon Unite, Wuthering Waves, and Zenless Zone Zero. I have recently returned to Honkai Star Rail so I will also be running that on the realme 13+ 5G.

Let’s start with Honkai Star Rail. Trailblazers would know that most of the Ultimates that the characters use can be VERY graphic intensive. One example would be Black Swan who summons crystalized hands to grab the enemies and crush them.

You can be sure that you can run the game at its highest of settings with 60 frames per second (fps). It successfully plays the Ultimates of each character without having any hiccups.

I recorded a sample of gameplay below. Please take note that screen recording does take a bit of a toll on the realme 13+ 5G, but it isn’t noticeable at all. I recommend running games without anything else in the background to ensure smooth sessions.

Next, we have Pokemon Unite, which is probably the least intensive game in graphics despite playing with others online. One of the characters I play is Decidueye who is a ranged unit and in a fast-paced game like this, I would prefer to keep my distance from my opponents. Lagging even for just a second may cause my Pokemon to take damage and maybe see the Defeat screen in the end.

Thankfully, that isn’t the case with the realme 13+ 5G. There is no lag or stutters on my end whatsoever even in the heat of the moment. You can be sure that you can strike your enemies and score goals.

The most graphic intensive game that I play would go to Wuthering Waves — an open-world adventure title. As new characters continue to get released, so does the flair each of them have. For instance, as of the moment, The Shorekeeper is the newest addition to the roster and her Ultimate is very flashy. Thankfully, the realme 13+ 5G can run the game at 60fps and at the highest image quality too.

One of the characters I also main is Changli who is known to drop some players’ frame rate whenever she uses her skills. You don’t have to worry about that with the realme 13+ 5G as it can make sure that Rovers can continue on their journey without too many stutters.

The last title is the newest game here with Zenless Zone Zero. Exploring New Eridu is an amazing sight as you do your dailies or wrap up quests. The realme 13+ 5G can handle this futuristic post-apocalyptic world, guaranteeing that you can parry or dodge attacks in real-time without any delays.

Jane Doe, a recent addition to the Zenless Zone Zero roster, is known to be very extra with her movements and abilities. Her flashy moves may cause some lag to other phones. With the realme 13+ 5G, however, it is able to showcase her combat techniques with no problem whatsoever.

You can take a look at what I do in my dailies in the game to get a better understanding.

In conclusion, if you are in the market for a new smartphone where you can enjoy gaming, the realme 13+ 5G may be the one you are looking for. It currently has a price tag of PHP 19,999.
