Just got an invitation for the preview of MeasureMap Alpha, a blog analytics tool from AdaptivePath. I’ve already setup the stats tracking along with MapStats and StatsCounter.
From my initial preview, MeaureMap looks quite impressive with some deeper stats tracking for my blog. They also have this very nifty guide on how to install the tracking system into your blog depending on your blog platform. Although installation might be a little challenging for the non-techie, the install wizard of sorts was pretty informative, concise and visual. (Note though that MeasureMap could get into some trouble with WordPress users having unusual themes or plugins. It could get quite confusing since it’s not your usual cut and paste tracking system.)
As of now, it just tracks your inbound and outbound links (where your visitors come from and where do they click away from your blog), comments traffic (which posts gets how much comments for the day), posts stats (how many posts are visited for the day) and general blog stats. Pretty interesting for an Alpha version. I like the part where it tracks which posts gets what amount of traffic for the day.
Been trying out some of BlogFlux’s tools in the last couple of months and they’re cool (esp. MapStats). I’m doing some beta-testing for upcoming tools as well and I am already impressed. Will be nice to compare the two after a few weeks.
As far as I know, it’s free. But they could be rolling out something like a Pro version for pay.
I heard about your pro version as well. Can I try for FREE?
Is MeasureMap free/paid? Speaking of which, how would you like to see MapStats extended? :)
