Bangkok, Thailand — Lenovo is expanding its presence in the Asia Pacific market with the introduction of its latest consumer PC lineup, which includes AI-powered Lenovo Yoga, Lenovo Legion, and Lenovo LOQ laptops.
These new models feature Intel Core Ultra processors in select versions and are integrated with Copilot in Windows 11.
Leon Yu, the Asia Pacific Consumer Business Lead at Lenovo, highlighted the company’s commitment to consumers and the drive to deliver innovative AI-enabled devices.
Lenovo launched its premium Yoga series to cater to the evolving needs of Gen Z creators in the digital age, introducing laptops designed to enhance the creative process. These new Yoga models are equipped with Intel Core Ultra processors, capable of handling demanding graphics tasks and workloads to boost creativity. They feature high-quality PureSight Pro and PureSight OLED displays for improved brightness, contrast, and color accuracy, essential for tasks like graphic design, photo editing, and video production.
They also introduced the inclusion of the Copilot key, providing quick access to Copilot in Windows—a smart AI assistant designed to aid in creativity, collaboration, and concentration by fetching information and inspiration from the web. The Lenovo Yoga 9i 2-in-1 and Yoga Pro 9i further enhance user experience with the Lenovo AI Engine+.
For creators looking to transform text or sketches into visuals, Lenovo introduces the Creator Zone software, a privacy-conscious AI tool available on select Yoga Pro laptops. This software will also offer image training capabilities for personalized content creation, aligning with individual styles and preferences. The Lenovo Creator Zone will roll out in phases starting in the second half of 2024 across select Asia Pacific markets.
The new Lenovo Yoga laptop includes:
There’s also the Lenovo Yoga ecosystem which includes the Lenovo Yoga Pro Bluetooth Mouse, Lenovo Yoga 600 Bluetooth Silent Mouse, Lenovo Yoga True Wireless Stereo Earbuds, and Lenovo Yoga Sleeve.
Lenovo has unveiled the Legion “Coldfront: Hyper” thermal solution exclusively for its Intel-based Lenovo Legion 7i and Legion 5i gaming laptops. This innovative system enhances airflow within the laptop, directing heat away from critical components through a central hyperbaric chamber, and efficiently separates hot and cold air with a bottom D-cover. This results in cooler operating temperatures, improved frame rates, and quieter performance.
Similarly, Lenovo’s LOQ laptops benefit from the new hyperchamber thermal technology, which not only cools processors more effectively—allowing up to an additional 25W of power in Extreme Mode—but also reduces skin temperatures by up to 2°C and fan noise by up to 2dB compared to previous models.
Lenovo’s latest gaming laptops also introduce AI-assisted performance enhancements through the Lenovo LA AI Core Chips. These chips enable higher frames per second (FPS) and better power efficiency, providing gamers with superior gaming experiences that set a new benchmark in the industry for power efficiency and performance.
The new PC line-up includes:
