Razer has unveiled its new Blade 16 gaming laptop, which combines a sleek design with high-end performance.
The 2025 model boasts a 16-inch QHD+ OLED display, offering a 240Hz refresh rate and 0.2ms response time. It runs on AMD’s Strix Point processors and NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 50 Series graphics.
The Blade 16 is thinner than its predecessor, measuring just 0.59 inches at its thinnest point, thanks to an updated cooling system that includes dual fans and vapor chambers covering 57% of the motherboard. However, Razer has not revealed the laptop’s weight, which is a key factor in determining portability.
The battery has shrunk slightly from 95.2Wh to 90Wh, but the energy-efficient AMD processors should help maintain similar battery life in real-world use.
Razer has not released full specs, but the laptop will offer up to an AMD Ryzen 9 AI HX 370 processor, NVIDIA RTX 5090 graphics, and up to 64GB of LPDDR5X-8000 RAM (non-upgradable).
Other updates include six speakers tuned by THX for better audio, a redesigned keyboard with 1.5mm key travel, and a new row of customizable macro keys.
The Blade 16 (2025) is expected to launch in the first quarter of 2025, though Razer has yet to announce pricing.
