iPhone SE 4 leaked renders hint a major redesign: iPhone 14 style, ditches Home button

Apple is reportedly working on a fourth generation of the iPhone SE, often referred to as the iPhone SE 4, which finally embraces a modern approach.

According to an exclusive report from 91mobiles, its obtained CAD renders reveal a major design revamp for the iPhone SE 4 — seemingly adopting the iPhone 14’s design.

This design departs from previous iPhone SE models, ditching the Home button, sporting a larger screen, a notch, and unsurprisingly, a USB-C port. The said notch will likely house the TrueDepth camera system for FaceID.

The report states that the iPhone SE 4 measures 147.7 x 71.5 x 7.7mm and is expected to have a 6.1-inch display. It also claims that the upcoming model will sport an Action button, a hardware feature currently exclusive to the iPhone 15 Pro models.

While this might be exciting for some, it’s sure to disappoint fans who were hoping for a successor to the iPhone mini lineup.

Release and availability details remain under wraps, but the iPhone SE 4 is expected to launch in 2025. However, with rumors swirling, it wouldn’t be surprising if it launched alongside the iPhone 16 later this year.

The last iPhone SE was the 2022 release 25 which featured a compact form-factor: a 4.7-inch LCD, A15 Bionic chip, and home button for TouchID. Its launch price was PHP 28,990 for the 64GB variant.
