Motorola launches Moto G Stylus 5G (2024)

Motorola has just launched the latest iteration of the Moto G Stylus 5G 27. The Moto G Stylus 5G 2024 sports a new design and the addition of wireless charging.

This phone features a 6.7-inch FHD+ pOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. It’s also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The back panel is designed with water-repellent vegan leather, coming with an IP52 rating for dust and water resistance.

Powering this device is a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1, just like its predecessor from last year. This comes with a configuration of 8GB RAM with storage options of 128GB and 256GB. But if readers find this lacking, the phone supports expansion up to 2TB via a microSD card.

For cameras, users get a 50MP main shooter with OIS. This is followed by a 13MP ultrawide sensor. At the front, you get a 32MP camera for selfies.

The Moto G Stylus 5G (2024) packs a 5,000mAh battery with 30W TurboPower wired charging and 15W wireless charging. Out-of-the-box, the phone is shipped with Android 14 with additions inclusive of Moto Secure 2.0, Moto Unplugged, and Family Space.

The software experience also simplifies taking notes, with a new UI to access stylus features too. Other features include a 3.5mm audio port, Bluetooth 5.1, USB Type-C with USB 2.0, dual-band WiFi, and NFC.

In comparison to Android flagship stylus phones, the Moto G Stylus 5G is a budget offering. It’s surely not competing with Samsung’s S Pen, but it does feature a larger contact area and reduced latency.

The Moto G Stylus 5G 2024 will be available in the US for USD 399.99PHP 23,474INR 33,899EUR 381CNY 2,911 (PHP 22,983.38USD 392INR 33,202EUR 373CNY 2,852) at Amazon, Best Buy, and Motorola‘s website. Sales begin on May 30, 2024 for the Caramel Latte and Scarlet Wave colorways.
