Leaked cases for the upcoming iPhone 16 models have surfaced, offering a glimpse into the design changes expected in both the Pro and non-Pro variants.
Initially, leaked cases for the iPhone 16 Pro revealed the presence of a rumored Capture button on the side.
Newly leaked cases for the non-Pro models, the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus, reinforce the anticipated design alterations.
The most noticeable change is the reconfiguration of the camera island, departing from the diagonal arrangement seen in previous models. Instead, the iPhone 16 series is expected to feature a vertical camera bump, with the two sensors positioned one below the other. Accompanying this setup is a centered LED flash array, situated to the right of the bump.
In a design reminiscent of the iPhone X, the latest prototypes for the non-Pro iPhone 16 models showcase two separate rings for the cameras, housed in a pill-shaped raised surface. This adjustment is aimed at facilitating spatial video recording capabilities, enhancing the user experience.
Additionally, both the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus are rumored to adopt the Action Button from the iPhone 15 Pro, along with a pressure-sensitive Capture button, further aligning the functionality across the iPhone lineup.
As the design cycle progresses, there remains a possibility of further changes before the anticipated September release of these devices.
