Samsung Galaxy F55 5G image renders, key specs, price leak

A new Galaxy F-Series smartphone, particularly the Samsung Galaxy F55 5G, is launching in India soon.

Initially, this appears to be a rebranded version of the Galaxy M55 20, but it is perhaps the Indian version of the China-exclusive Galaxy C55 which came out last week.

We can infer, then, that the Galaxy F55 (model number SM-E556B) will also come equipped with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1, just like its other variants’ namesake, at least according to a Geekbench listing. This also revealed it will run Android 14 as well as the single- and multi-core scores, garnering 843 and 2,307, respectively. This is a pre-release firmware; hence the numbers could go higher on the retail firmware.

Thanks to tipster by evleaks, we also get a first look of the Galaxy F55 sporting an orange faux leather back shell. It also comes in black for a more muted option.

Other expected specs include a 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display running at 120Hz; 5000mAh battery paired with 45W charging; in-screen fingerprint sensor; and a triple camera setup led by a 50-megapixel main sensor. The selfie shooter also gets a 50-megapixel sensor.

In another leak, TheTechOutlook revealed the pricing information. According to the publication, the Galaxy F55 5G will come in three configs with the following prices:

  • INR 26,999 (~Php18.6K) | 8GB+128GB
  • INR 29,999 (~Php20.7K) | 8GB+256GB
  • INR 32,999 (~Php22.7K) | 12GB+256GB

Samsung hasn’t mentioned any release window yet but expect the Galaxy F55 5G to launch soon, this month at the earliest.
