Global Launch for Xiaomi Mix Flip Confirmed for September by CEO Lei Jun

The Xiaomi Mix Flip, the company’s first clamshell-type foldable, is set to go global. Initially launched in China back in July, the Mix Flip will soon be making its way to international markets. This confirmation comes from Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun, who announced on X (formerly Twitter) that the global launch will happen “this September,” suggesting an official announcement will take place soon.

The Mix Flip is expected to share the same specifications as its China version. It features a 4.01-inch cover screen and a 6.86-inch OLED 120Hz primary display. Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, it offers up to 16GB of RAM, up to 1TB of storage, and a 4,780mAh battery supporting 67W fast charging. The camera setup includes two 50MP sensors on the rear.

Xiaomi has a scheduled event later this month for the Xiaomi 14T, and it’s likely that the global launch of the Mix Flip will be announced then.
