At CES 2025, Qualcomm unveiled its latest Snapdragon X processors for budget PCs, and Lenovo is wasting no time bringing the new tech to market.
The company has officially launched two mini desktop PCs powered by the Snapdragon X Series CPUs: the Lenovo ThinkCentre neo 50q QC and the Lenovo IdeaCentre Mini x (1L, 10).
Both desktops will feature the Snapdragon X Plus chip, bringing AI capabilities via Qualcomm’s Copilot+ platform. This move is part of Qualcomm’s broader plan to integrate Snapdragon X processors into a range of mini desktops, with over 100 devices (including laptops) expected to roll out in 2025.
The ThinkCentre neo 50q QC is powered by the Snapdragon X Plus and Snapdragon X Platforms, offering up to 45 TOPS of NPU power.
This means AI features are built into the processing, allowing for Copilot+ capabilities in a compact design. It includes several USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports and supports up to 16GB of DDR5 RAM.
Connectivity-wise, it uses Wi-Fi 6E.
The ThinkCentre neo 50q QC is expected to be available in February 2025, with prices starting at USD 849PHP 49,257INR 72,867EUR 825CNY 6,217.
