The new Apple Thunderbolt 5 Pro cables are now available in the Philippines. It has a braided design that coils without tangling.
If anyone missed it, the new M4 Pro and M4 Max-powered models have Thunderbolt 5 USB Type-C ports. This new power standard offers transfer speeds up to 120Gbps, which is 4x more than the 40Gbps Thunderbolt 4 ports offer.
As per Apple’s official listing, it supports USB-4 data transfers (80Gbps), DisplayPort 2.1, and up to 240W power delivery. Users may also daisy-chain up to six (6) Thunderbolt devices.
The Apple Thunderbolt 5 Pro is priced at only PHP 3,990. This offering is sold separately from the new M4-powered Macs should any users like to leverage its connectivity.
