Some image renders along with key specifications of the upcoming Motorola Razr 50 Series have emerged online.
The new lineup, which reportedly consists of the Razr 50 5G and Razr 50 Ultra 5G, showcases the same clamshell flip-style design.
Based on the renders (via 91mobiles), both models retain the design aesthetics of last year’s Razr 40 Ultra.

However, this year’s Ultra variant could see a larger cover screen with significantly thinner bezels around. While the vanilla variant also gets a larger cover screen than its predecessor, the dimensions look more similar to that of Razr 40 Ultra.
The leaked specs align with that speculation as the Razr 50 5G will sport a 6.9-inch Full HD+ pOLED main display and a 3.63-inch pOLED cover screen — the same specs as the Razr 40 Ultra.
Dual rear cameras at the rear with 50-megapixel and 13-megapixel lenses, and 32-megapixel selfie shooter. Its chipset is said to be the MediaTek Dimensity 7300X with 8GB+256GB config. It packs a larger 4200mAh battery, weighs 188 grams and measures 7.2mm thick.
The Razr 50 Ultra naturally gets better specs, including the latest Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, two 50-megapixel cameras at the rear, and a 6.9-inch Full HD+ pOLED display with a much smoother 165Hz refresh rate.
Its pOLED cover screen is indeed larger at 4.0-inch. Configuration includes up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. And the battery is rated a tad bit lower at 4000mAh paired with 45W wired charging.
No official word yet from Motorola about its new foldables’ release window. With last year’s timeline though, we can expect them to launch in early June.
