vivo’s Y-Series gets a new addition with the launch of vivo Y100 5G—offering improved specs than its previous counterparts 17.
For starters, it sports a 6.67-inch Full HD+ E4 AMOLED display with support for 120Hz refresh and 1200 nits peak brightness. Up top is a hole punch notch housing its 8-megapixel selfie shooter and underneath is an in-screen fingerprint sensor.
Powering this device is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 with up to 16GB extended RAM and 256GB expandable storage.
At the rear protrudes a dual rear camera system: a 50-megapixel main paired with 8-megapixel wide-angle lens.
The third circle is a flicker sensor that detects pulsed lights frequency and adjusts ISO and shutter speed accordingly. This is primarily to avoid unwanted banding in captured images or videos.
Additionally, the device is IP54 rated for protection against splashes and dust. And it has a faster 80W charging rate paired with 5000mAh battery.
