Tesla Model 3 and Tesla Model Y priced in the Philippines

The Tesla Model 3 and Tesla Model Y have been priced in the Philippines. This marks the official arrival of Elon Musk’s electric vehicles and Supercharger network in the country.

The first indoor Supercharger station has set up shop at Uptown Mall in BGC, Taguig. Compared to filling up a vehicle with gasoline, Teslas are a solid alternative for sustainable driving.

For context, a Tesla Model 3 needs P19 per kilowatt-hour, which is roughly PHP 1,140 for a fully-charged vehicle. Of course, the issue here right now is the single charging station. However, Tesla says that more are set to arrive in the Philippines.

At the time of writing, the Tesla showroom has opened at Uptown Parade offering the Model 3 and Model Y. Readers may also check them out at Tesla’s official website. From here, you can choose between rear-wheel drive (RWD), long range, and performance variants of the vehicles.

The entry-level Model 3 RWD starts at PHP 2,109,000 with a 513 km range. As for the Model Y RWD, which offers more space, it will start at PHP 2,369,000. The EVs are now available for order and are likely to be shipped from the Tesla Gigafactory in Shanghai.

Of course, Tesla offers some customization options for EVs as well. The price should fluctuate based on colors (interior and exterior), wheel design, and autopilot packages. Just keep in mind, buyers need to place a PHP 15,000 non-refundable deposit to secure an order.

I should note that every Tesla comes with basic autopilot, including features like autosteer and traffic-aware cruise control. Users may get the full self-driving capability by adding PHP 394,000 to your Model 3 RWD purchase. Lastly, the Teslas are also available with installment options. We’ll update the article once we have full details on the payment method.
