DJI has recently introduced the DJI Neo, a lightweight and portable drone designed specifically for content creators and beginners.
Weighing only 135 grams, the Neo is DJI’s smallest and lightest drone yet, making it incredibly easy to carry and use. One of its standout features is the ability to take off and land directly from your palm.
The Neo is equipped with AI algorithms that allow it to track subjects automatically, making it ideal for capturing yourself in action while cycling, hiking, or skateboarding.
Additionally, the drone offers six pre-programmed flight modes (Dronie, Circle, Spotlight, Rocket, Helix, and Boomerang), allowing users to capture creative footage with a simple tap.
Despite its compact size, the Neo can record 4K video at 30 fps with stabilization to reduce shakes and maintain image clarity. It also features 22GB of internal storage, which can hold up to 40 minutes of 4K video.
For connectivity and control, the Neo connects to smartphones via Wi-Fi, offering a range of up to 50 meters. An optional RC-N3 remote control can be purchased for longer range (10 km) and traditional control stick operation.
The Neo also includes a built-in microphone that can be paired with the DJI Fly app for audio recording during flights. Additionally, Wi-Fi allows for quick video transfer to the app for editing and sharing. The battery provides up to 18 minutes of flight time.
The DJI Neo is priced at PHP 18,999USD 324INR 27,446EUR 308CNY 2,358 for the ‘Fly More Combo’ and PHP 10,799USD 184INR 15,600EUR 175CNY 1,340 for the unit only.
It is available in all DJI authorized retails stores and DJI Experience Stores across key locations at SM Aura, SM Mall of Asia, SM Megamall, SM North EDSA, SM Seaside Cebu, SM Palawan, One Ayala, and Abreeza Davao.
Customers may also get it online via DJI’s TikTok Shop (@djiphilippines), Shopee 22, and Lazada 25 stores.
