The Leica Leitz Phone 3 has launched exclusively in Japan. It comes as a successor to the 2022 Leitz Phone 2, packing Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, 47.2-megapixel main camera, and 5000mAh battery.
As for looks, the Leitz Phone 3 stays true to its Leica heritage. The phone features a fluted frame and a textured back with a signature circular camera module that screams Leica.
It even comes with a fancy lens cap (sold separately or bundled) to complete the illusion that you’re carrying a miniature Leica M-Series camera around.
Flip to front, it boasts a 6.6-inch WUXGA+ Pro IGZO OLED reaching up to 2000 nits of peak brightness. It runs Android 14 out of the box and has IP69 water and dust resistance rating for added protection.
