GoPro’s new flagship action camera, the Hero 13-Black is now revealed and comes with a bigger battery and interchangeable lenses.
Yesternight is the brand’s launch date. GoPro has officially introduced their newest and improved action camera, retailing for $400 (PHP 22K).
And what does the 400-dollar worth of action camera offer?
The new Hero 13 Black has an ultra-slow motion capture capability of 400 frames per second at 720, with a 15-second recording time restriction, in addition to all the features and capabilities of the previous model. With the camera’s 5.3K maximum recording resolution, you can also capture in slow motion, although you can only do it at 120 frames per second for a maximum of 5 seconds.
In addition to GPS, the Hero 13 Black offers Hybrid Log Gamma (HLG), which lets you add telemetry data to the footage you capture.
What makes it more interesting is the three new smart HB-Series lenses- Ultra-wide Lens, Macro Lens, and Anamorphic Lens. These lenses are not included when you purchase the camera, but you can avail these lenses for $100 (PHP 5.5K).
With this wide range of lenses, you can shoot and record yourself in a 1:1 aspect ratio to 21:9 aspect ratio, depending on which lens.
GoPro’s Hero 13 Black has WiFi6 and Bluetooth compatibility which lets you connect to AirPods or any wireless headphones, smoothly.
