Honor officially releases its newest toughest smartphone, the HONOR X9b 5G. It is now boasting a five-star overall drop resistance certification from Switzerland’s SGS.
The technology behind its 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED, is what Honor calls ‘Ultra-Bounce Anti-Drop Display’. This reinforces the device’s display with 360-degree protection, making it able to withstand harsh drops and even being ran over by a car.
Powering this phone is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen1 configured with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.
At the rear the HONOR X9b bears the same design as its predecessor, the HONOR X9a 5G 246, with a circular camera module but added a unique touch with knurled edge.
It consists of 108-megapixel main camera complemented with 5-megapixel wide/depth and 2-megapixel macro.
Battery-wise, it gets a higher-than-usual capacity with 5800mAh cell with support for 35W charging. It runs MagicOS 7.2 on top of Android 13.
