Maya will soon have a small fee for cashing in using linked bank accounts on their app.
There will now be a cash in fee via linked bank accounts on the Maya app. A fee of PHP 5USD 0.09INR 7EUR 0.08CNY 0.62 will be charged for each cash in transaction.
Cash in banks consist of BDO, BPI, Chinabank, RCBC, and UnionBank. Currently, there is no charge for cash ins through linked bank accounts at the moment.
Maya’s new terms and conditions are to be effective on February 26, 2024.

I switched to maya from gcash since they have free 500,000 cashin per month but now both providers have cashin fee… then ill switch back to cash again.
Or use the unionbank free instapay transfer for 1k and below.
Ill find the best route with no cost even if it takes multiple transfer for me to accomplish it unless it will eat a huge amount of time. 😊
The govt should push for no transaction fees or convenience fee to push the people in using digital currency. If there is no free option anymore… then back to cash again. 😊
