With the recent rollout of the PLDT Prepaid Fiber Plan 750, another great offering has surfaced online. If you check multiple marketplaces on social media, you’ll notice an unannounced Fiber Unli Plan 899. That’s right! For just PHP 899, you can have an unlimited fiber connection.
Now, what’s the catch? Here are the details of the inclusion for this very affordable plan:
Speed up to 35Mbps
No landline
36-month lock-in period
Installation and activation fee of PHP 3,600, which can be paid upfront or in ₱100 monthly installments added to your billing cycle for 36 months.
Only one valid ID required
The new PLDT Unli Fiber 899 plan is a great alternative for those who don’t need landlines and are on a tight budget. 35Mbps is actually not bad for 2024, considering that not all users nationwide have the luxury of high-speed connections.

Thanks for the info. I’m weighing the pros/cons of prepaid Globe vs PLDT.
I’ve been experiencing a frustrating issue with PLDT: I’ve been without internet for almost a month despite continuing to pay my bills on time. The lack of service has significantly impacted my daily activities and work. Despite reaching out to customer support multiple times, I’ve encountered the worst customer support with no action taken to fix the issue. Additionally, I have a 300 Mbps plan, but I’ve had constant signal issues and only receive speeds up to 50 Mbps. I strongly advise others to never, ever try PLDT due to their unreliable service and poor customer support.
