Alongside the new vivo V40 5G, the company also launched the vivo Watch 3 in the Philippines. Despite the numbering, it is actually vivo’s very first global smartwatch offering.
It features a 1.43-inch 3D curved (round) AMOLED display and weighs only 36 grams. The watch also runs on vivo’s self-developed BlueOS offering a simple UI yet aligns with their own design language.
For health tracking, the watch has 8-channel heart rate and 16-channel blood oxygen tracking. Other health essentials are also here such as stress detection, sleep tracking, and over 100 sports mode to tinker with.
As for battery life, vivo promises up to 16-day uptime considering various activities including smart heart rate, Bluetooth calling, and music playback.
There is also an NFC card where it can be used as a key for door access, and motion gestures for answering calls or silencing alarms.
