The vivo Y300 Pro has been announced in China as the brand’s newest offering under the mid-range segment. Notably, it holds significant upgrades in comparison to its predecessor in the vivo Y200 Pro.
The phone has a 6.77-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. It even has up to a whopping 5,000 nits of peak brightness.
It also runs on a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 octa-core processor. The new Y300 Pro offers up to 12GB RAM and 512GB of internal storage.
Rear cameras include a 50-megapixel main shooter paired with a 2-megapixel depth sensor. At the front, users will get a 32-megapixel front-facing camera.
The device packs a huge 6,500mAh battery that supports 80W of wired fast charging via USB Type-C. It’s suggested that this may be the reason why this phone is heavier than its predecessor by 20 grams.
In addition, it has a higher IP65 rating for dust and water resistance. The vivo Y300 Pro comes in Black, Ocean Blue, Titanium, and White. Prices start at CNY 1,799 (~PHP 14K) with 8GB/128GB.
It’s also available for CNY 2,499 (~PHP 20K) with a much higher 12GB/512GB configuration. The phone is available for pre-orders in China at the time of writing. However, there’s no details yet on whether it will be released internationally.
