We all know how the Sony Xperia Z4 would look like, but how about in real life? A couple of alleged live photos are rounding up in the web, and it looks a lot like the upcoming Japanese tech giant flagship.
We’ve been rounding up rumors for Sony’s next big thing since last year, and it’s no surprise that rumors and leaks still circulate despite how hard the company tries to keep its new tricks under wraps, like the leaked images from those emails, or the rumor that it’ll have two display variants, a dual-sim version, and even a music version to boot.
As far as the specs goes, the Z4 indeed will sport a 20.7-megapixel rear camera and Snapdragon 810. That’s on top of new info that the Z4 will sport a 3,400mAh battery and Android Lollipop right out of the box. The new Xperia also has an IP68 certification, which means it can be submerged as deep as 4.9 feet for 30 minutes without having any damage.
Sony Xperia Z4 leaked specs:
5.5-inch QHD display @ 2560 x 1440 resolution
2.8GHz Snapdragon 810 MSM8994 64-bit octa-core processor
Adreno 430 GPU
4GB RAM
32GB starting storage
20.7MP rear camera with curved Exmor RS CMOS sensor
LTE Cat.6
Bluetooth 4.1
Omni-balance design
Dedicated sound amplifier
IP68 certified (can be submerged for up to 4.9 feet for 30 minutes)
Android 5.0 Lollipop
3400mAh battery
Are we close to seeing the launch of the Sony Xperia Z4? Only time can tell.

@EzME kaya malaki yung allowance sa top and bottom kasi yung speakers ng Z3 nasa harap.
aha says:
5.5in?? wow!! panigurado, ang footprint nitong phone na ito katulad na ng sa 6in na phone ng ibang famous OEM. LOL!
sony pa, pag palakihan ng bezel ng phone ang labanan, unbeatable! haha!
EzmE says:
I think yun nga ang di maganda sa sony phone, kung yung bezel sa sides medyo ok pa pero yung top at bottom tskk, tapos on screen pa yun back/home/recent buttons
aha says:
G3, 5.5in screen, phone size: 146.3 x 74.6 mm
Z3, 5.2in screen, phone size: 146 x 72 mm
given the screen sizes in inches, & with aspect ratio of 16:9, using Trigonometry,
Z3 has screen size of 64.754 x 115.118 mm
G3 has screen size of 68.489 x 121.759 mm
z3 has screen/body ratio of 64.754*115.118/(146*72) = 70.913%.
using same formula, g3 has ratio of 76.408%.
di ko naman makita yung niliitan na bezel ng z3 na sinasabi mo.
Marianne Ching says:
Based on your comment, hindi mo pa nakita personally ang z3 and z3 compact. Hindi na issue ang bezels nila dahil niliitan na nila ito. Try comparing the bezels of G3, M8 and iphone6.

I wonder kung gaano kalaki ang impact ng problema ng SnapDragon 810 sa mga models na gumagamit nito.
HTC had to throttle their processor in M9 in order to avoid overheating. Based on the benchmarks, M9 ended up not being significantly faster than M8 and the battery life also seems weaker. Most of the reviews/blogs are saying it might be better to just buy M8 than pay for a higher price for what is essentially the same (and even in some aspects worse) phone in M9.
DeCelle says:
DAYYUUMMMNNN, I currently have my Sony z3 compact. But hell, Ill upgrade to that beauty when it comes out!
chitz says:
Based from the leaked benchmark that I have seen, it will only be a 1.9GHz Snap Dragon 810..
