Im Allgemeinen ist es beim Thema Free calls to US, Canada via GMail Voice aus
meiner Sicht absolut wichtig, dass die Posts genauestens recherchiert werden,
damit kein falsches Bild entsteht. Dies scheint mir auf
dieser Website immer das Normalste der Welt zu sein.
Deshalb stöbere ich hier auch das ein oder andere
Mal aufs Neue.

Yes, it really works. I am using it without the voice and chat software. Just log in to your Gmail account from a browser and at the lower left side of your standard email page viewer, you must sign in to chat. Then click “Call Phone”. A popup dialer will appear at the bottom-right of your window where you can proceed to call.
demoiselle says:
can we use this feature using a mobile phone with wifi/3g?
Kenneth says:
I guess Yuga might wanna share where he got his installer, since I won’t be able to download it from Google Voice’s official site.

i’ve checked the rates for Philippine landline and mobile calls, it’s about 1-2.50pesos cheaper to call using GMail than a regular cellphone, assuming the rate per $ is at P45
bespectacled says:
Tried calling today and it works! Really cool…nice reception too.
Can I ask something though? We don’t get charged for calling people in the US and Canada but do they get charged for receiving the calls? This question is particularly relevant for mobile users in the US and Canada.
gringo says:
nice try ko nga to:)

chl says:
The rates are not that different than SKYPE but now I have option to buy in US$ instead of Euros. I actually prefer Yahoo voice which I have had great experience with.
