Google has re-designed the UI for Android 3.0 Honeycomb to make it more usable for tablet form factors (there are a ton of tablets being revealed this week at CES 2011). Check out the preview of how the Android 3.0 UI would look like.
If you’re thinking whether your recently bought Android tablet can be upgraded to Honeycomb, we don’t know either but recommended specs is said to be in the 1GHz processor and 512MB RAM of the handset might be enough. That means the Samsung Galaxy S might just be able to get the 3.0 update once it’s released.

Damn! I want an android tablet more than Ipad! :-D
(but then again, somebody might tell me, “Wait ’til you see Ipad 2”.) hehehehe

I do hope that the Galaxy Tab will be given a Honeycomb update. This update will surely be an added bonus, it would feel like buying a new gadget because of the new UI, plus the screen real estate would be maximized
Though it is not required to have dual cores to run 3.0, I certainly hope it wouldn’t be buggy or laggy when running with “minimum specs” only. I remember when I upgraded my Spica from 1.6 to 2.1 there were some noticeable lag in running some applications.
Net, I do hope Samsung doesn’t rest on it’s laurels and continue to support their products similar with what Apple is doing.
