Google Knows: All the places you’ve been on Google Maps

Here’s another little bit of personal information about you that Google knows — all the places you’ve been on Google Maps.

And you can actually review all of those locations on Google Maps, including the date where you visited those places. Just go to www.google.com/maps/timeline.

The interactive maps will put red dots on places you have been to ever since you’ve used Google Maps. Of course, it will not be able to detect you if you did not use Maps when you happen to visit places. So the ones shown here are my location record and some of them are not indicated — like the UK, Pakistan, Spain, Germany and The Netherlands — since I did not use Google Maps when I was there.

How cool (or scary) is that?

And Google should already know where you live (that is if you always use Google Maps at home and if it counts the number of times you’re there). Does it?

    Nowhere to hide….. Scary indeed!

why would Google care of your whereabouts? Assuming, google knows everything that you do, say, or location, e ano naman ngayon? would they bother bothering you?
