Google Maps Updated, Share Directions Feature in Tow

The search giant has released the latest iteration of Google Maps app. With it comes a new feature called Share Directions which, as it name implies, allows user to share the route that their friends/relatives need to take in order to arrive at a certain location.

After searching for the location on Google Map, users will only have to hit on Share Directions option and select one of the supported platforms (Social Media, Bluetooth, and even SMS) on the list on which they wish to share the direction/route to their friend.

If you have Google Maps on your device already, you can expect to be notified about this update in the coming days. Conversely, if you don’t have the app yet, you can be download it straight from Google Play Store or sideloaded the app to your device by downloading APK on this link.

    Waze feature is better- you can see your friends (on another vehicle) simultaneously moving with you while on the road. Perfect when you are tagging along in a convoy

    It’s a great feature, there are times that my friend ask about directions and to share it to him I screenshot my phone and send him the picture, with this its a lot easier.
