Moving on to the realm of high-definition, the PK-910H is a good try if you are in need of a better webcam. This one can do 1080p video at 30fps and it also has a built-in microphone for voice chatting. It’s designed to clip on to your monitors as well and can pan and tilt for adjustment. Still image can get up to 16-megapixel through interpolation. It’s kinda okay for Php 880.
Not all are from A4Tech because Logitech has an affordable webcam — the C170. It’s a universal clip-on webcam that can do XVGA video recording and take software enhanced 5-megapixel stills. It’s got a built-in microphone with noise-reduction for clearer voice capture during chats. It’s a quality PC camera for Php 895.
Lastly, we have the PK-900H. A portable webcam that can be folded and fit into pockets for travel. It also has a 360° swivel neck to be able to record at any angle. It can record 1080p video at 30fps and like most A4Tech webcam, the still can get up to 16-megapixel through interpolation. It’s priced at Php 920.
As you’ve noticed, most cheap cameras are from A4Tech since they are widely available and cheap at stores. If you need real quality webcam, there are more expensive options from Logitech that even have autofocus. If you’re on a budget, you can try the webcams listed above.
