Apple MacBook Air 2020

The MacBook Air 2020 is a good recommendation for first-time MacBook owners who want the most affordable option in the 2020 lineup and will use it for light to moderate tasks. It becomes a more enticing recommendation if you already own a few Apple devices like an iPhone. But for creators who are looking for something more powerful to handle heavier workloads, we’d recommend getting the MacBook Pro instead.

Huawei Y7a

For PHP 8,999USD 153INR 13,000EUR 146CNY 1,117, you’re actually getting good specs, including a Full HD+ display, a decent processor, a 48MP quad-camera setup, and not to mention, it’s got amazing battery life. Of course, it also comes with few shortcomings, like not being able to play graphically-intensive games smoothly at high settings and lacking EIS in the video.

realme narzo 20

For the price of PHP 7,490USD 128INR 10,820EUR 122CNY 930 (4GB + 64GB), the new narzo 20 packs good capabilities at a low price. Comparing it to the realme C15, the narzo 20 packs better performance thanks to the processor, which will benefit gamers. It also has a Type-C port and versatile cameras. The only disadvantage we see here is how it’s almost identical to realme’s previous offerings. However, if you’re thinking of getting a new budget smartphone in this budget, we recommend that you get this one instead.

Infinix Zero 8

The Infinix Zero 8 comes with an official tag of PHP 12,990USD 221INR 18,765EUR 211CNY 1,612, which is really attractive for what it offers. Its performance should be enough for your day-to-day use with some casual gaming. The cameras are excellent, and it can really produce high-quality photos for your social media posts.

ASUS VivoBook S14 (S433EQ)

The VivoBook S14 (S433EQ) is priced at PHP 59,995USD 1,022INR 86,669EUR 974CNY 7,445, which is the same price found on the previous VivoBook S14 10th-gen Intel Core i7 variant. If you recently purchased the 10th-gen model, there’s no need to feel bad as the performance can still be considered good. But if you’re scouting for a good laptop now for that budget, you’d be glad to know that the new VivoBook S14 received some upgrades.

OPPO Reno4 Z 5G

The OPPO Reno4 Z 5G has a price tag of PHP 20,990USD 358INR 30,322EUR 341CNY 2,605, and it is exclusively available on Globe and Smart postpaid plans only. For that, you’re getting a screen with a high refresh rate, solid cameras, and long battery life. It can also be considered as one of the more affordable options for those looking for a 5G-enabled smartphone but don’t want to spend much on more expensive flagships.

Apple iPhone 12

The iPhone 12 will set you back PHP 49,990USD 852INR 72,216EUR 811CNY 6,204 for the 64GB variant on Apple’s authorized reseller. If you are coming from the iPhone Xs or Xr or an older generation of iPhone, the iPhone 12 is a pretty nice upgrade in all aspects. You’ll get a pretty powerful chipset, a stunning image quality from its new camera system, and a pretty ergonomic new design.

Huawei Mate40 Pro

The Huawei Mate40 Pro, without a doubt, is the best smartphone the company has released to date. It’s almost the perfect phone, checking out the requirements we want for a 2020 flagship — a large immersive screen with a high refresh rate, great speakers, the most powerful cameras in the smartphone market, amazing performance, great battery life, cool software features, and comprehensive connectivity features.

ASUS ZenBook 13 UX325E

The ASUS ZenBook 13 UX325 is a great laptop for light to moderate users looking for a stylish machine that is light and has a small footprint. But it’s no lightweight in productivity, though, thanks to its decent performance, nice screen, comfortable and functional keyboard, and long battery life. If this is what you’re looking for, then put this laptop high on your list.

Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 8

Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 8 is a tough, reliable and capable laptop with a light and slim body, nice display, excellent keyboard, generous connectivity, good performance for its class, and decent battery life. However, it’s not for everyone though, given the high starting price tag of PHP 129,990USD 2,215INR 187,784EUR 2,110CNY 16,132. It’s a serious business laptop meant for corporate people with serious money. But if you’re just a regular person who needs a capable ultrabook for work and entertainment, there are more affordable options out there.
