Wondering which games to play during this pandemic? Well, we carefully handpicked some games that very much are in theme with the world’s current situation. But we do hope that this crisis wouldn’t go as far or worsen our current situation like in these games. Hopefully. Fingers crossed.

1.Plague Inc. ( IOS, Android, Microsoft Windows, Playstation 4, Windows Phone, Xbox One)

 A unique mix of high strategy and terrifyingly realistic simulation, Plague Inc. is a game where you play as a pathogen has just infected ‘Patient Zero’. Now you must bring about the end of human history by evolving a deadly global plague whilst adapting against everything humanity can do to defend itself.

2. Left for Dead 1-2 ( Microsoft Windows, Xbox 360, OS X)

The Left 4 Dead series is a modern classic first-person zombie shooter in which the player takes control of one of four survivors. The Infected suffered an outbreak of the “Green Flu”, a highly contagious pathogen that causes extreme aggression, mutation to the body cells, and loss of higher brain functions, turning them to zombies.

3. Dead Space 1-3 (Playstation 3, Xbox 360, Microsoft Windows)

This would probably be one of the scariest Sci-Fi game series out there. You play as Isaac Clarke, a ship systems engineer who must fight his way through a mining starship infested with an alien scourge. The crew has been horrifically slaughtered, and their corpses reanimated into creatures known as “Necromorphs”.

4. A Plague Tale: Innocence (PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Microsoft Windows)

A Plague Tale: Innocence is a horror stealth game that takes you on a heartrending journey through the darkest hours of history. You play young Amicia and her little brother Hugo who are trying to survive the infamous Great Bubonic Plague.

5. Dying Light (PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Microsoft Windows, OS X )

In Dying Light, you assume the role of Kyle Crane, an undercover operative sent to infiltrate the quarantine zone in the Middle-Eastern city of Harran, during his mission to find Kadir “Rais” Suleiman, a political figure has gone rogue who has a file that could destroy the reputation of his agency. It’s an open-world first-person survival horror action-adventure game that will surely keep you engaged.

6. Bloodborne (Playstation 4)

 

Bloodborne is set in the city of Yharnam which is plagued with an endemic illness that has transformed most of its citizens into bestial creatures. The player must navigate the streets of Yharnam during the night of The Hunt, and overcome its violently deranged inhabitants and horrifying monsters to stop the source of the plague and escape the nightmare

7. Prototype 1-2 (PlayStation 4, Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Xbox One)

Set in New York City, Prototype tells the story of a virus infecting people and the military’s attempts to put an end to it. This is one of the OG open-world action-adventure games, so you know it’s gotta be good.

8. Resident Evil 7 (PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, IBM PC compatible, Microsoft Windows)

 In the latest installment of the classic survival horror game, the player controls Ethan Winters from a first-person perspective as he searches the Baker house for his missing wife in a plantation. As the story progresses, Ethan discovers that there is more than meets the eye.

9. Dragon Age: Origins (PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Microsoft Windows, Macintosh operating systems)

This one is a role-playing game set in the fictional world of Ferelden where Demonic creatures called the Darkspawn to arise from the Deep Road and start a Blight that threatens the existence of men.  You play as a Grey Wardens, a Legendary order of heroes are tasked to defend the realm of men from the spreading monstrosities.

10. Last of Us (Playstation 3 and Playstation 4)

In a hostile, post-pandemic world, Joel and Ellie, brought together by desperate circumstances, must rely on each other to survive a brutal journey across what remains of the United States which is inhabited by Contagious Fungal like Zombies.
