Gaming laptops have always offered versatility in terms of having great graphics and processing power while still being portable enough to bring to work or school.
But with gaming laptops getting more and more powerful, they’ve also gotten more and more expensive.
So today we’ll check out some recent affordable gaming laptops in 2023 that are between PHP 30,000 to PHP 50,000.
At this price, you can expect to get specs at the ballpark of an RTX 3050 series graphics card, either a Ryzen 7 or Intel Core i7 processor, and at least 8GB of RAM and 512GB of SSD storage. So let’s get to the list!
Table of Contents
First up is the ASUS TUF Gaming F15 which has been one of the most popular choices at this price range.
It comes with the Intel Core i5 12500h, 8GB of RAM, and 512GB of SSD storage. Its display is a 15.6-inch FHD 16:9 IPS panel with up to a 144Hz refresh rate.
It also has the NVIDIA RTX 3050 GPU with 4GB GDDR6 VRAM that is clocked at 95W. What’s more is that in 2023, the ASUS TUF Gaming F15 comes with a MUX Switch and Optimus for even better performance and efficiency.
Its chiclet keyboard also has support for 1-zone RGB while also having expansion for up to 32GB of RAM.
The ASUS TUF Gaming F15 can be had for PHP 49,999 as of writing through ASUS’ ROG Official Store 827 on Shopee 475.
The HP Victus 15 on the other hand has remained one of the prettiest gaming laptops one can get at this price point as it comes in either a muted mica silver or a clean ceramic white colorway.
At this price, you get the Ryzen 5 5600H, 8GB of DDR4 RAM, and 512GB of SSD storage. The display is also a 15.6-inch FHD panel with a 144Hz refresh rate.
When it comes to graphics, you either have the choice of an NVIDIA RTX 3050 or an RTX 3050Ti, which should offer a slight bump in performance of around 10-15%. Both come with 4GB of GDDR6 VRAM.
There’s even a newer model that comes with the latest Ryzen 5 7535HS processor, the catch is that for some reason, it comes with an older RTX 2050 64 instead. The upside is that this model comes in at just PHP 42,995.
The HP Victus 15 with the Ryzen 5 5600H comes at just PHP 45,495 for the RTX 3050 93 model and PHP 47,495 for the model with an RTX 3050Ti 211 Datablitz. Check out our feature of the HP Victus 15 that features Intel processors right above!
The Acer Nitro 5 has always been a popular choice who always wanted a budget gaming laptop. Its latest version comes with an Intel Core i5-12500H together with an RTX 3050 or RTX 3050Ti GPU.
You also get 8GB of DDR4 RAM, 512GB of SSD storage, and a 15.6-inch FHD display with a 144Hz refresh rate while also having a MUX Switch.
But Acer has also released a new model in its Nitro line just this 2023 with the Acer Nitro V 15 that features a much more muted and professional design.
Moreover, it packs the latest Intel Core i5-13420H processor, however, the catch is that it comes with an older generation RTX 2050 GPU.
It also features 8GB of DDR5 RAM, 512GB of SSD Storage, and a 15.6-inch display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 3ms response time.

The Acer Nitro V 15 on the other hand can be had for as low as PHP 44,850 on Datablitz 181 and PHP 48,995 on iTech 39 and Villman Computers 57.
At this price point, it may be hard to find a laptop with at least an RTX 3060 GPU unless you buy second-hand, but what about the next best thing?
The MSI 335 Cyborg 15 on paper should pack a bigger punch with an RTX 3050 that comes with 6GB of VRAM. This puts it closer to an RTX 3060 that comes usually with 8GB of VRAM.
On top of that, it also has the Intel Core i5-12450H processor, up to 16GB of DDR5 RAM, and 512GB of SSD storage.
It also has a 15.6-inch FHD 144Hz display with room for memory expansion of up to 64GB and a single M.2 PCIe Gen4 slot for storage expansion.
The MSI Cyborg 15 can be had on MSI’s Flagship Store 312 or PC Central 272 for just PHP 46,999 for the model with 8GB of RAM while the 16GB RAM model can be had for just PHP 49,999 making it one of the, if not the best packages at this price point.
If you’re looking for a reliable and sturdy laptop for gaming, AutoCAD, video editing, 3D work, or any other intensive tasks then check out the Lenovo Ideapad Gaming 3 which given the brand’s great track record for reliability, should last you a while.
It comes with either the Intel Core i5-11320H / AMD Ryzen 5 5600H / 6600H processor with AMD FreeSync, up to 16GB of RAM, and 512GB of SSD storage.
For graphics, it either has the NVIDIA RTX 3050 or RTX 3050Ti GPU with 4GB of GDDR6 VRAM with a TGP of 85W. The display itself is a 15.6-inch FHD panel with a 120Hz refresh rate.
Lenovo has always been known to be one of the best at balancing performance and temperatures in their gaming laptops, giving the best of both worlds.
The Lenovo Ideapad Gaming 3 / 3i can be had for the following prices and retailers:
Lenovo Legion Flagship Store (Shopee) 347
Lastly, we’ve included the Lenovo IdeaPad 5 Pro for the simple reason that if your first priority is portability and having an ultrabook while playing games comes in second, then the Lenovo IdeaPad 5 Pro would be an excellent choice.
It comes with a powerful AMD Ryzen 7 6800HS processor, 16GB of RAM, 512GB of storage, and even a 14-inch 2.8K display with a 16:10 aspect ratio while just weighing in at 3 lbs! Which in itself is already very impressive.
But it also packs in an AMD Radeon 680M graphics which won’t compete with more powerful dedicated graphics cards but it should be powerful enough to get you 30 to 60FPS on most games at 1080p settings and even over 100FPS in some competitive shooters.
As a package, the Lenovo Ideapad 5 Pro offers one of the best values for one looking for a sleek ultrabook with enough power to casually play even today’s modern games.
The only catch is that you’re gonna have to catch it on sale as it can be had for as low as PHP 48,495 as of writing on Datablitz 42, down from its original price of PHP 69,995.
