The Bureau of Internal Revenue has extended the deadline for filing the 2019 annual income tax returns (ITR) extended by one month, from April 15 to May 15, 2020.
Corporations that have scheduled elections of directors, trustees, or officers scheduled between March 1 and May 31, 2020, that was canceled due to health and safety reasons concerning the Covid-19 disease, may give the Commission a notice within 30 days of the scheduled meeting, along with a new date within 60 days of the initially scheduled date. This is considering that said corporation does not have the means for remote communication.
Companies not holding elections for reasons other than due to the Covid-19 disease will also be required to report the Commission within 30 days of the scheduled meeting, as well as a new date within 60 days of the initially scheduled date.
Due to the enhanced community quarantine in effect, the Department of Transportation has ordered the Land Transportation Office to extend the deadline for driver’s licenses and vehicle registrations to April 30, 2020. Additionally, Temporary Operator’s Permits that expired on March 13, 2020, can be settled within March 13 to April 12 without suspension.
Alongside LTO, the Department of Transportations has also ordered the LTFRB to extend the deadline for public transport franchises to April 30, 2020.
Operations in the Consular Offices in Luzon are temporarily suspended from March 17, 2020, until further notice. Furthermore, passport deliveries starting with the aforementioned date will be delayed until further notice.

The following DTI services are suspended during the Enhanced Community Quarantine in Luzon:
The Fair Trade Enforcement Bureau (FTEB) and the Bureau of Philippine Standards (BPS) will notify concerned individuals of the date of payment and release of permits, licenses, or certificates.
The DTI frontline services will continue from Monday to Friday through online portals.
The Philippine National Police has approved protocols on the extension of renewal security guard ID’s and License to Exercise Security Profession (LESP). Additionally, the PNP has also approved the automatic extension of expiring License to Own and Possess Firearm (LTOPF), firearm registration and License to Operate for Firearms of private security agencies until April 14.
From March 16 to April 14, 2020, installment payments for Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas properties are suspended. Acceptance of payments will resume on April 15, 2020. The auction of BSP properties scheduled on March 24 and 31, 2020, is also canceled until further notice.
According to a report by ABS-CBN News, Quezon City will be extending the deadline for local taxes and permits due to the quarantine. Included taxes and schedules are as follows:
