Smartphones Under ₱10K (Php10,000) | Q3 2024

Looking for new entry-level phones? We’ve got you covered.

In this article, we’re doing a rundown of the newest smartphones released in the Philippines during Q3 of 2024 — specifically priced under PHP 10,000.

So, without further ado, let’s dive right into the list.

Under 10k Q3 2024

DISCLAIMER: The smartphones featured in this list were officially released in the Philippines during Q3 2024 (July to September). Listed prices here reflect their suggested retail prices (SRP).

itel P65

Kicking off this list is the itel P65, the only model in this list that features a gaming aesthetic. I mean it won’t be as good as a true gaming phone, but it sure does have the looks.

Itel P65

It sports a mecha-inspired back and complemented by a color-changing ring LED lighting. This design kind of reminds of the POVA Series from TECNO or even the Infinix GT 20 Pro 22.

Under the hood, the P65 features a UNISOC T615 chipset configured with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage.

Flip to front, it sports a 6.7-inch HD+ IPS LCD panel running at 120Hz refresh rate.

Cameras are decent with a 50-megapixel main shooter alongside an auxiliary lens.

The battery is rated at 5000mAh capacity with support for 18W of charging.

realme C61

Next, we have two models from the realme C-Series: the realme C61 and the realme C65.

Starting with the C61, it features the UNISOC T612 with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of expandable storage.

Realme C61

For the display, it sports a 6.74-inch HD+ IPS LCD panel with a lower 90Hz refresh rate.

At the rear, the camera island is surely familiar (ehem iPhone) housing two cameras: a 50-megapixel main sensor and a 2-megapixel auxiliary lens.

Its battery is also rated at 5000mAh capacity paired with 15W of charging.

realme C65

Then, there’s the realme C65 with a subtle resemblance to the Galaxy S22’s design except the material used here shows a flare effect.

It runs on the MediaTek Helio G85 — it’s a bit more powerful chipset — combined with 8GB RAM and 256GB expandable storage.

Realme C65

The display is a 6.67-inch HD+ IPS LCD running at 90Hz refresh rate.

It seems like 50-megapixel main camera plus a depth sensor is a staple in the entry-level segment, because all models that we discussed so far features such camera setup.

Anyways, the battery is the usual 5000mAh unit, but it gets a much faster 45W of charging.

Redmi 13

Now, we turn our attention to the Xiaomi Redmi 11 13, which apparently offers the most value for money in its weight class. It’s the only model out of the bunch that comes with a Full HD+ IPS LCD panel, runs at 90Hz, and even has Gorilla Glass on top.

Redmi 13

It runs on the MediaTek Helio G91-Ultra which is a faster chip than the likes of G85, configured with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of expandable storage.

Cameras are sure enticing with a 108-megapixel main sensor along with a 2-megapixel macro sensor. However, do note that despite the high megapixel count, it won’t be as good as higher-end models.

As for battery, it packs a 5030mAh battery with 33W of charging.

vivo Y28

For the same price (at PHP 7,999), we have the vivo Y28 offering the biggest battery: a whopping 6000mAh unit paired with 44W charging rate.

Under the hood, it runs on the MediaTek Helio G85 with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB of expandable storage.

Vivo Y28

Up front, it has a 6.68-inch HD+ IPS LCD panel with 90Hz refresh rate.

As you would’ve guessed, the cameras are also a 50-megapixel main and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.

OPPO A3

Last and definitely not the least is the OPPO A3 equipped the Snapdragon Gs 4G Gen 1 — which is a glorified Snapdragon 662 from 2020.

Qualcomm does say it’s got an improved CPU and GPU, or so they it claims at least.

Oppo A3

Moving on, for config, the phone packs 6GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage.

It only has a single rear 50-megapixel camera alongside a flicker sensor. And its battery is a bit higher than usual with a 5100mAh unit paired with 45W charging rate.
