Table of Contents
If you like content from Disney especially the MCU and Star Wars, Disney+ has attractive plans starting at PHP 159/mo for the mobile plan. You can even save by opting for the yearly plan of PHP 1,150/yr, which is like PHP 96/mo. Going for Premium would cost you PHP 369/mo (which is more affordable than Netflix’s Premium) but getting the annual of PHP 2,950/yr is like getting it for just PHP 246/mo. Not bad at all.
If you want an all-arounder, you can opt for Amazon Prime Video and HBO Go. Their plans are much more affordable than Netflix’s. However, Netflix still has a very solid catalog but is more expensive especially if you’re going to opt for the Premium package. Lionsgate Play is also available in the Philippines but is offered as an exclusive freebie to PLDT Fiber subscribers. For lifestyle content, Discovery+ is a good service.
If you spend a lot of time on YouTube watching your favorite vloggers or music video, going for YouTube Premium is worth it. YouTube ads are getting more and more annoying and the viewing experience is much better without them. If there are students in your household, you can also opt for the Student subscription for PHP 95/mo.
If you like watching Asian dramas, especially K-dramas, Netflix has a lot of them. However, if you want to add more to it, you can check out Viu Premium for PHP 129/mo or iQIYI VIP for PHP 169/mo for the Premium.
If you like watching Anime, Netflix also has plenty but if you want a wider catalog, Crunchyroll is one of the best, starting at PHP 99/mo for the Mega Fan subscription.
If you like watching local TV shows and movies, Viva Max has very flexible plans and subscription duration. It has weekly, monthly, 3-months, 6-months, and annual, so you can choose which one that fits your needs. iWant TFC is also a good option as it offers a Free plan with ads. You can remove those ads by spending PHP 119/mo, which is not bad.
And there you have it. Given these plans, which one are you getting or removing? Share your preferred subscription plans in the comments below.
