4G download speeds are faster during these hours, according to report

Opensignal recently published a report showing when 4G download speeds are faster and slower throughout the day.

According to Opensignal, 4G download speeds are at the fastest across all regions between 3 AM and 5 AM, reaching speeds of 17 Mbps or more, which can be attributed to fewer people using the network during those hours.

Speeds decline from 6 AM as people wake up and more devices access the 4G networks. In NCR, speeds reach at around 14 Mbps at noon then drops to 10.4 Mbps in the evening, with 8 PM to 10 PM being the slowest time.

In other regions in Luzon, speeds were around 9 Mbps at noon then slowing down to 6 Mbps in the evening. Visayas and Mindanao experiences slower speeds in the evening at below 5 Mbps.

The data suggest that 4G networks in the Philippines are capable of delivering fast download speeds but slows down as more people are using it.
