Lenovo has just launched two new laptops, part of its ThinkBook line in 14 and 15-inch configurations. The ThinkBook line is Lenovo’s attempt to mix business-class laptops with style.
The ThinkBook 14 is equipped with a 14-inch FHD IPS display, an Intel Core i5-10210U with Integrated UHD Graphics, while the ThinkBook 15 is equipped with a 15.6-inch FHD IPS display, Intel Core i7-10510U paired with an AMD Raden 620 GPU. Both models sport 8GB of DDR4 2666MHz RAM, a 512GB M.2 SSD, and run on Windows 10 Pro housed in a solid aluminum frame with a brushed metal finish.
At the back, there’s a Lenovo Logo to the upper left side and a ThinkBook logo on the lower left.
It features security measures such as fingerprint unlocking and a mic + webcam mute slider like the one present in the Lenovo S540.
The display on both models looks good enough, with excellent viewing angles. We’d have to test it out to see if it’s great for creative work, though. The hinge can be tilted a full 180° too.
Aside from the size, the 15-inch model has a stronger processor and GPU, as well as a full-sized keyboard. The keyboard on both devices is excellent, with little to no wobble, stable long keys, and consistent actuation force throughout the keycap.
The ports and layout are the same with both models. On the left, there’s an RJ45 port, HDMI port, one USB Type-A, two USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
On the right, there’s a dedicated USB 2.0 slot for your wireless mouse, a 4-in-1 card reader, another USB port, and a locking wedge.
Lenovo announced that the two models would be available this December 2019, with the first 500 buyers getting a free 8GB RAM upgrade for a total of 16GB. The two models will retail for:

Why didn’t you approve my comment earlier? If it’s about me using profanity then I apologize for that. I was just asking about what the writer’s first impressions of the new ThinkBooks are. Talking about how the keyboard is excellent hardly makes for a first impressions article at all. In fact, if you remove your one sentence about the keyboard, then the article is just a rehash of your previous article about the launch.
