Infinix officially claimed the #1 position in the Philippines’ smartphone market for the 2nd Quarter (Q2) of 2024, holding a significant huge 16.1% market share.
Well, that is according to IDC’s recent report, The company not only saw an impressive performance locally but also experienced a consistent five quarters of year-over-year growth, to which records an 18.8% global increase in smartphone shipments for the same period.

Just a brief refresher of the device, for starters it is equipped with a 6.78-inch AMOLED display featuring a 144Hz refresh rate, as well as a Dimensity 8200 Ultimate processor running at 3.0GHz. Additionally, it offers 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM, 256GB UFS 3.1 storage, a 108MP main camera, and a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging.
The companies growth isn’t limited to the Philippines—it has also expanded globally, reaching the top 5 in over 20 markets, like Malaysia, Indonesia, and Saudi Arabia. Even in some regions, year-over-year shipment growth jumped by as much as 469%.
This key to success is driven by their product launches, like the popular NOTE 40 series, and partnerships with popular gaming brands like PUBG Mobile and Honor of Kings.
