Self-isolation sometimes isn’t going well for us. Yes, we can escape from the threats of the virus, but we can’t escape from being bored and being crazy. Instead of browsing through your social media, playing games, and watching movies all day long, why not hop on Tinder and meet new people around the globe?
Tinder recently made the Passport, a feature reserved Plus and gold subscribers, free. What this feature does is that you can manually change your geographical location, either by searching a city or country or by dropping a pin on the map. You’ll see people using Tinder in that region, and you can start swiping.
Do take note that you can only be in one city at a time, but you can change to as many locations as you want. Also, this feature will be free to all members until April 30 only.
After doing those steps, you can go back to the main page, and you’ll see changes instantly.
You can still use Tinder even though you are not looking for someone to date. You can use it to learn a foreign language, culture, and know more about their country. You may also ask random people how they are holding up in this isolation, and from there who knows what the future will hold. Maybe after this pandemic, you can both have a chance to see each other. But then again, if using this app might cause you trouble with a significant other, try finding other ways to pass the time.
