Twitter Circle, the new feature that lets users Tweet amongst a smaller audience is now available for everyone to use.
This feature ensures that you can Tweet certain things that you’d rather keep amongst certain people or close colleagues of your choosing without all of your followers and all of Twitter being able to view that specific Tweet.
It was first reported back in May that Twitter had been testing Twitter Circle amongst some users.
The feature works similarly to Instagram’s “Close Friends” Story feature which lets you share stories amongst certain people you choose.
Twitter Circle will allow users to add up to 150 people to their Circle, whether they follow you or not.
To Tweet amongst people in your Circle, there is a dropdown menu at the top left next to your profile picture when writing a Tweet, select it and hit “Twitter Circle”.
To add people to your Circle, select “edit” beside the “Twitter Circle” option after clicking the dropdown menu mentioned previously.
