After establishing a strong presence in pretty much every major mall in the country, Starmobile is upping the ante as the local company announced that their devices are now available on select 7-Eleven stores in the country.
In a statement, Starmobile Ulysees Lao said that the whole idea behind this initiative is to make it more convenient for Filipinos to purchase a Starmobile device sans the hassle of needing to go to the mall which usually involves braving the elements and ridiculous traffic.
Lao also added that by making their device available in a respectable convenience store like 7-Eleven, Filipinos can purchase a Starmobile device whenever they want. “Whether you need a spare phone or you lost your primary unit due to flood, you no longer need to go to a mall just to keep connected,” he quipped.
According to the press release, Starmobile devices will initially be available in six (6) 7-Eleven branches scattered around the metro (listed below). The company claims that they’re targeting to bring their devices to at least sixty (60) branches by the end of the year.
