Android 12.1 now available for Windows 11 Insiders

Microsoft is testing the Android 12.1 on Windows 11 with their latest release for Windows Insiders. With update version 2204.40000.15.0, an upgrade for the version of Android running on PC that helps make the apps feel more at home running on a PC.

The Windows Subsystem for Android is currently available if you’re a Windows Insider. One of the particular adjustments made is the headlining improvement that underpins Windows’ ability to run mobile applications. With this update, improvements on how Android 12.1 apps integrate with Windows will make Android applications feel more like Windows applications. Pop-up messages from the applications show up as Windows notifications now, and additionally, allow Android apps to be shown when accessing the microphone or location through the taskbar.

The Android applications have also been optimized after waking up the pc from standby.
