Archos, a brand mostly known for its affordable line but highly-capable Android slates, has announced its first set of LTE-enabled budget-friendly smartphones – the Archos 45 Helium 4G and the Archos 50 Helium 4G.
Archos’ base entry, the Archos 45 Helium 4G, sports a 4.5-inch FWVGA (854 x 480) IPS display with 218ppi, 4GB of internal storage with microSD card support, 5 megapixel rear camera with LED flash, and a VGA front facing.
Powering the device is a Qualcomm MSM8926 quad-core CPU clocked at 1.4GHz, 1GB of RAM, 1,700mAh battery and Android 4.3 Jellybean (upgradable to Android 4.4.2 KitKat). Price tag is at $199.99 or almost Php9,000 converted.
Next is the Archos 50 Helium 4G which sports a 5-inch HD (1280 x 720) IPS display with 294ppi, 8GB of internal storage with microSD card support, 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash, and 2 megapixel front-facing.
Running under the hood is the same Qualcomm MSM8926 quad-core CPU, 1GB RAM, but with a larger 2,00mAh battery and Android 4.3 Jellybean (upgradable to Android 4.4.2 KitKat). Price tag is at $249.99 or around Php11,000 coverted.
The Archos Helium LTE smartphones is set to make an appearance at CES 2014. Market availability is yet to be announced.
sa tingin ko ok lang naman yung presyo.
sa tingin ko naman 2hours lang naka-on LTE mo. Lowbat na to.
Eh di magpowerbank ka! Kung ayaw mo ng phone na to dahil mababa ang battery, wag mong bilhin. In my opinion, okay lang ang 4.5inch version nito since FWVGA ang resolution, tapos i-on mo lang ang LTE on demand.
Talo ang CM Cosmos Z. Sana ilabas nila to dito.
Wow, Moto G contenders from Archos! I hope they do bring these to PH, Archos tabs were decent (up until iFive, Ramos and local brands began to bring more bang-for-the-buck tablets).
i just wanna know what are the LTE bands here in the phl, both for smart and globe. thanks
Globe: 1800 Mhz
Smart: 800 and 2100 Mhz
Globe 1800MHz band 3
Smart 210Hz band 1
