ASUS is taking the stage at Computex 2018 with the launch of a new gaming-focused device under their Republic of Gamers brand, and the company has just teased that.
On the company’s Facebook page, the Taiwanese tech giant just made us look a bit of what we can expect with the upcoming ROG device. The device resembles a smartphone docked onto an external controller, and we can see that one of its sides has a rather red-colored call speaker grille (which in turn could also be a front-firing speaker) and is set up to be like a notch on the side. No other information aside from this has been released to the public, nor claimed on leak sites.
Is this the long-rumored ROG smartphone? As we near the date the company officially unveils the device, we’ve yet to see what would compose ASUS’ newest gaming smartphone. Stay tuned as we cover the events from Computex 2018 next week.
