Powered by a Snapdragon 410 quad-core CPU, 2GB RAM, and Adreno 306 GPU, the Laser proved to be a solid mid-ranger. Although it doesn’t have a lot to boast when it comes to benchmark numbers, it can get through tasks without choking. We played EA UFC and it was able to run well with minimal lags and without much warming.
The Laser comes with your usual connectivity features like 4G LTE, dual-SIM (micro), WiFi, Bluetooth, and GPS. There’s no NFC but not really a huge let down. Both SIM card slots support mobile data and dual-SIM call forwarding. Call quality is good and has no problems connecting to mobile data as long as strong reception is available.
Equipped with not-so-power-hungry specs coupled with a 3,000mAh battery, we were able to get good mileage on the Laser as it can last a whole day with constant WiFi connectivity, a few hours of mobile data, light calls and texts, and couple of hours playing games. On PCMark’s battery bench, we we’re able to get a solid 12 hours and 31 minutes of battery life.

Marvin Choi says:
jocone says:
You read Zafon and Zusak. We should be friends. (Totally unrelated comment. Lol)
Sphayk says:
What stores that have?
JAsus says:
Hi! Will the Zenfone 2 Laser recieve an android update with the recent release of Marshmallow? Do you have any news? TIA.
Anna19 says:
Ayan. Para lang kasi makapag-comment ng negative. Hays! Magbasa muna mabuti ng review bago mag-reply.
NYX says:
Talaga? Kasing pangit at bulok mo cguro.
Abe Olandres says:
This model uses Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 not Intel.
Mark Anthony says:
ANNA19 : please check the specs. Zenfone 2 Laser is powered by Snapdragon 410. Google din pag may time.
HEISENBERG says:
Available na ba to sa PH Market??
james says:
Thanks for the awesome tip on the audio settings, now the speakers sound superb!
tony says:
Is the ZE550KL already out in the market? most of the shops I’ve been to only have the ZE500KL.
zenth says:
Is the screen size the only difference here between the prices?
tony says:
ZE550KL has a 3000 mAh battery. The ZE500KL has a smaller one.
Nhettes says:
Hi, which is better ZF2 or ZF laser?
bigbaldgabz says:
Does this have fast/quick charge function like the other zenfones?
Mark Anthony says:
Actually, Yes. ZE550KL (5.5) variant has Quick Charging feature by using 18W Fast charger (The Inclusion charger on the box is only normal charger, so you have to purchase 18W fast charger. The smaller ZE500KL (5.0) doesn’t have.
Abe Olandres says:
Nope.
XG says:
angelique says:
panget intel sa android
anon says:
Based sa ibang reviews, pareho yung sensor (Toshiba) and pareho pa din yung image processing.
Habol mo dito sa Zenfone Laser yung imba battery life.
Martin Bernardo says:
Bibili ako nito! Goodluck na naman sa sahod ko.
PointBreak says:
Hi Yugatech! Is this variant gonna be available in the PH??? Thanks in advance!
